In the outdoor parking area, which is located within a short walk of the terminals, is maximum parking period allowed is restricted to 90 days.

For passengers who are just looking for Stockholm Arlanda Airport short term parking to either pick up or drop off passengers, hourly parking presents the best and cheapest option. Five parking areas are provided for short term parking requirements and they are also near the terminals and the SkyCity building.

At terminals 2 and 3 the maximum parking time allowed is just one hour for pick up and drop off. This is also the case at terminal 4.

At terminal 5, right next to the multi-storey car park, short term parking is permitted for a maximum of two hours. There is also an arrivals loop and here the maximum amount of time for short term parking is one hour.

At the SkyCity complex short term parking is also restricted to one hour.

For short term parking in the multi-storey parking areas at terminal 2 one hour will cost 80.00 Swedish Kroner. The charge per day is 310.00 Swedish Kroner. In the outdoor parking area by terminal 4 the charge per hour is also 80.00 Swedish Kroner, but here the day rate drops down to 220.00 Swedish Kroner. Charge vary slightly according to which short term parking area passengers wish to use.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport Parking – Long Term

For long term parking there are two parking areas available, sign-posted as Arlanda Långtid Alfa and Arlanda Långtid Beta parking areas. Here the hourly charge is only 50.00 Swedish Kroner and the day rate for parking from 1 to 4 days falls to 110.00 Swedish Kroner, while a whole week at Alfa costs 450.00 Swedish Kroner and a week’s parking at Beta will cost 520.00 Swedish Kroner.

Car Rentals

Stockholm Arlanda Airport is served by several car rental companies including Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt. A shuttle bus will take passengers from the arrivals terminal to the relevant car hire station, where customers with pre-booked car hire can pick up their keys and documents for the vehicle of their choice. Cars must also be returned to the same area, where they were picked up and passengers can catch the shuttle bus back to their departure terminal from just outside the car hire stations. The shuttle bus no. 17 deals with customers for Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz, while shuttle bus no. 14 deals serves customers for Sixt car rental.
